Please find some information about new Relationships Australia NSW – Ability Groupwork timetable for online groups for people with disabilities which can be accessed across NSW for free.
Please find following dates & info about upcoming groups. Flyers coming! But in the meantime, a summary of course content for each group is attached – if you need to describe to colleagues or clients?
The groups are:
- 24/7 LOVE
Support, connection and care for carers
A FREE 6-week on-line group for people who care for a loved one living with disabilities.
DATES: Wed 30th June – Wed 4th August, 11-12:30PM – ON-LINE.
- Sex, Love & Dating
For Men (Cis and Trans) and Non-Binary People living with a disability
This FREE 4-WEEK ON-LINE course offers practical support and learning around having respectful, safe, and fun relationships, on-line and off, with people we are attracted to.
DATES: Monday 19th July – Monday 9th August, 11-1230pm. ON-LINE.
- Sex, Love & Dating
For Women (Cis and Trans) and Non-Binary People living with a disability
This FREE 4-WEEK ON-LINE course offers practical support and learning around having respectful, safe and fun relationships, on-line and off, with people we are attracted to.
DATES: Tuesday 20th July – Tuesday 10th August, 11-1230pm. ON-LINE.
- Feeling GREAT About ME
A FREE 8-Week ON-LINE group for people living with disabilities
Dates: Monday 18th Oct – Monday 6th Dec, 5:45pm – 7:17pm. ON-LINE.
Feeling GREAT About ME brings together core concepts from Relationships Australia’s long-running Relationship Education Program, such as Healthy Relationships, Self-Esteem, and Managing Strong Emotions, with a playful and gentle approach tailored specifically to the interest-areas of the group’s participants.
