Camden Meals on Wheels provides meal, transport and individual social support services to the 65+ community members across the Camden LGA receiving a Government funded Commonwealth Home Support Package (CHSP) and on the Support At Home (SAH) program. As our logo states, we are “More than just a Meal”, with all meal deliveries having a dual purpose of a welfare check. All our services are delivered by our team of dedicated volunteers.
Our menu offers a diverse range of meals to cater for most dietary needs. Meals come in main and mini sizes, as well as soups and desserts. Meals can be delivered hot or frozen, and there is no minimum order or locked in contract obligations. The cost of the meals include delivery.
Our transport services assist people in getting to appointments, to do their grocery shopping, get to the post office, pharmacy and other services. Transport can be arranged within the Camden LGA, Campbelltown LGA and Liverpool LGA.
Individual Social Support services enable people to attend essential health and lifestyle appointments, accompanied. The difference between our transport services and individual support services is that the volunteer will accompany the person during this time through social companionship.
