Older Persons Mental Health First Aid

Hello Aged Care service providers and volunteers,

We still have just a few places available in our Older Persons Mental Health First Aid training starting next Friday 11^th August and also 18^th August at Haberfield.

This is an excellent course involving a two-day commitment.  It will equip participants to respond appropriately and helpfully to older people who may be experiencing a range of mental health concerns.

The facilitator will be Jane Massa, who is Co-ordinator of Suicide and Depression Prevention, Older Persons Mental Health at Sydney Local Health District.
