Dear Colleagues,
I am writing to let you know that The Multicultural Network is currently seeking for an Ethno-specific organisation that would like work in partnership with the Multicultural Access and Referral Service (MARS Project), by delivering free advocacy, information, support, and referral service to CALD frail aged people and their carers within SWS LGAs.
MARS Project, it’s a service funded by CHSP and managed by TMN since 2012. MARS is an unique project that works with a brokerage model, where Ethno-specific organisations are contracted to assist in the delivery of the service.
Through a contract, full training, support, promotion, program updates and supervision are provided to a designated worker, and subsequently, TMN pays the contracted ethno-specific organisation for the delivery of the services to the community.
MARS is currently working in partnership with 3 Ethno-Specific and multicultural organisations providing support to Khmer, Lao, Macedonian, and Spanish communities, and is seeking for an Arabic/Assyrian or a Vietnamese bilingual worker to join the project.
TMN is offering a contract of a maximum of 10 hours per month at $45 per hour + GST to an organisation that can allocate an existing employee and/or a sub-contractor to deliver the service.
The project model is designed to engage a worker that is already in contact with the community, has experience in casework and the delivery of information and referrals, and would like to extend their workload by a couple of hours a week.
If you would like to join us or if you would like to discuss further, please do not hesitate to send us an email to mars@tmn.net.au and we will get in contact with you shortly. However, if you believe that your organisation is not suitable to partner with us, but you might know someone that might be interested to join this unique project, please feel free to share this email with them.
Thank you.
